A while ago, I came across this beautiful Desk Setup on Reddit by St-ealthassassin. I reached out to him, and asked him what he loves about his desk setup.
He mentioned on the post that he loves to work from home and feels a lot more productive. He says “wish it cuold stay this way”. I can imagine, the complemantary colors; blue and orange, are striking. The saturated and bright wallpaper is the ‘Aqua Amore’ on wallpaper engine. The RGB inside the custom PC build, is themed blue to go with the wallpaper. Talking about the LED, did you see what I saw?
Using LED is a great way to brighten up your space and desk setup. Using different colors can really give it a vibe. Briefly mentioning that this desk setup might be quite unique; not only it the LED strip mounted behind the desk, to give it more depth – but it also reaches all the way behind the pole next to the desk setup. This is incredibly creative and really makes this setup a one-of-a-kind. What do you think?
As previsously mentioned, the wallpaper is extending on the second display. This is very creative. You might not be able to see it, but Wallpaper Engine allows you to animate your wallpaper. This will look incredible.
The plants on the PC case and next to the monitor, really add to the natural aesthetic. The orange LED behind the desk also extends the wallpaper, and really gives it the look of a sunset. If you want to create this yourself, try to get the desk a little farther away from the wall. This allows the LED to spread farther on the wall, and give it a better result. Also, did you see any cables? He definitely nailed this setup. Let’s take a look at some different angles.
It started off as a gaming setup, but with current events it allowed my workflow to transition seamlessly at home.

If you didn’t notice yet, you can hover the products in the image above to get the products for yourself*. Talking about that, I asked the owner of this beautiful desk setup why he uses the products that he does. He mentioned that it started off as a gaming setup, hence the PlayStation Controller that you can also spot in the image. The Logitech G305 gaming mouse could also have given it away.
Peripherals
Let’s take a lot at some of the peripherals in the desk setup. It is clear to me he went for a neutral grey and white color. With a white mouse, grey desk pad, and the keyboard being a combination of white and grey; it certainly makes the other colors in the desk setup pop.
He also uses a custom mechanical keyboard that has Gateron Brown switches. He says: “After a while it transitioned into my ‘work from home’ setup, and I’m extremely thankful for that” I can imagine; with a setup like this, I wouldn’t want to leave the house either.
“What is your favorite product about this desk setup” I asked. He replied as a true gamer: “My favourite product would be the monitor and GPU combo. Coming from console, and a 60hz display, I didn’t think this level of gaming experience was possible, and it blows me away everytime” I couldn’t agree more.
Talking about his PC, let’s see what’s inside.

As a final thought, I asked him what inspired the lighting in his desk setup, which definitely gives it that extra touch. He said: “I work for a lighting agency as a numbers guy. That’s how I got the DALS RGBW. What’s great about them, is that the strips and lamps connect individually.” Personally, I hadn’t heard from this brand. Definitely going to give it a look.
